This was the original suitcase brought by Plack Sirisatien on his first trip to Australia on 25 August 1975. He also packed a camera and some flared jeans. He studied English. After time in America, Plack eventually decided to return and settle in Australia. Like many Thai migrants, Plack opened a Thai restaurant in 1984 named Siam II. Now affectionately known as Lung (Uncle) by the Thai community, Plack takes Thai students on tours of Sydney.
