Apron woven 1940s, Velusina, Bitola

Dana's mother-in-law, Bevcana Tasveska, wove this apron for her wedding in the 1940s. The apron has a complex design of burgundy, with black and red lozenges. Bevcana brought the apron to Australia to maintain a connection with her family and heritage.

Height: 68 cm, width: 54 cm, loom width: 35 cm; Cotton warp, woollen weft.
