Apron woven 1948, Velusina, Bitola

Menka Karanfilovska wove this apron to wear when working and to keep warm during the colder months. Like most of the aprons in the exhibition, this apron has a tapestry weave, with the weft completely covering the warp. This weave creates a thicker and warmer fabric than a plain weave.
