A description of our life in Australia.

My Family.

I live in a beautiful house in Berkeley. In my family there are my parents, and we, the boys. We are Australian but come from Vietnam. My parents came to Australia first. They came to Australia by plane. Then my brother and I were born here.

So there are 6 people in my family. My mum’s name is Nam, 41 years old. She works in a restaurant. My dad’s name is Quang, 47 years of age. He cooks for the same restaurant. My older brother Tri, 21 years old, studies in Wollongong University. Vy,12 years, is my older brother too and studies in Smith’s Hill High. Hien, that’s me and I am 10 years old. I have a younger brother called Huy who is 8 years old. Huy and I study in a Catholic Primary School named St Francis Xavier.

My mum has been here for 21 years. She enjoys a simple and happy life. When she was in Vietnam, she worked for the post office in Cai Rang.

Now she likes working in her restaurant, reading books, cooking and watching TV. We are very happy in Australia because there is no war here.
